Q: I recently received my order of glacial acetic acid and some of the bottles have frozen. Is this a problem?
A: Acetic acid freezes at about 62°F. It is not unusual for products shipping from our Columbus, Ohio facility to drop below that temperature during shipping, especially during the winter months. Freezing of acetic acid does not affect it in any negative way. It is slow to melt, so we recommend putting the frozen bottles in a warm water bath overnight to speed the process along.
