Inorganic - Research and Development at GFS Chemicals
Even with a long history of manufacturing expertise, GFS continually looks for product compliments to its chemical toolbox. Our Inorganic R&D staff responds to customer demands for developing more stringent product specifications on existing products as well as developing processes for brand new items to compliment our product offerings. Whether it is to evolve a current ACS salt into an ultra pure trace metal material or develop a process for producing a compound for the very first time, GFS has demonstrated success and continues to show we’re not just a vendor, but a valuable partner with our customers.
Some recent non-confidential projects that have successfully added value to several of our customer's applications include:
Multiple Trifluormethansulfonate (triflate) salts
Some non-confidential projects currently being worked on include:
numerous nano-material dispersions
Assorted anticorrosive pigments and surface treatments (for more information, click on our technical library)
Propionate salts
High Valence metals (see technical library section)
Low Valence metals (see technical library section)
