The UV/Vis spectrophotometer, including microplate readers and colorimeters, is an essential instrument in most labs. In order to ensure the instrument is reading samples correctly the UV/Vis spectrophotometer should be validated year road. As a validation standard, In-Spec® replaces toxic and expensive potassium dichromate filters. In-Spec® standards are also a simple alternative to reagent standards which only validate the instrument for that analysis. In-Spec® provides more options because absorbance or transmittance data can be provided at any wavelength between 190 & 1100nm instead of only a handful of wavelengths.
