GFS has been known for years for its quality tetravalent cerium compounds. Recently, personnel with expertise in additional high valence (and low valence) chemistries have been added to GFS to pursue additional product development, as well as introduce stable forms of these unusual oxidation states into application areas as described in the technical library such as Batteries, Dielectrics, and Energy Storage; Coatings and Paints; Fuel Additives; Catalysts for Organic Syntheses; and Pharmaceutical Intermediates.
High valence metal (HVM) chemistries currently being pursued at GFS Chemicals include trivalent cobalt, tetravalent cerium, trivalent/tetravalent manganese, pentavalent vanadium, trivalent copper, divalent silver, and trivalent/tetravalent nickel.
Low valence metal (LVM) chemistries currently being pursued at GFS include trivalent titanium, trivalent vanadium, divalent chromium, divalent europium, and low valence molybdenum compounds.
Our Research & Development News site describes some of the efforts GFS is pursuing in these chemistries. Contact inorganicdevelopment@gfschemicals.com or call 1-877-534-0795 for more information.
